Oxford Kidney Unit

The Oxford Kidney Unit provides a regional renal service for Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Swindon.

The unit has inpatient, outpatient and day case facilities, with treatment ranging from diagnosis and management of kidney disease to provision of dialysis therapies.

It provides specialist nursing care for patients aged 16-100 with acute kidney injury or chronic kidney disease.

The unit develops close relationships with returning patients and supports them through their renal conditions. The ward also offers end of life care to those patients where renal treatments are not suitable or no longer an option.

Oxford Kidney Unit celebrated its Golden Anniversary in 2017.

Brightening spirits at the Churchill

The charity team went to visit the Teenage, Young Adult Cancer department at the Churchill Hospital with some special treats for the patients to mark the end of Teenage and Young Adult Cancer Awareness month.
10k Oxford Swim 2024

Following the beautiful, meandering River Thames from Farmoor to Godstow, this 10K swim includes three locks with feed stations at each. Simply navigate the locks by exiting the river at marker Buoys, then walking through the lock and re-entering the river at marked points.
